What truly sets Peppa's apart is their abundance of banchans—traditional Korean side dishes. Guests can choose from a variety of options to complement their meals, elevating the dining experience beyond the ordinary. Diners have praised the well-seasoned mandoo and the flavorful tofu soup, packed with tender tofu and brisket that melts in your mouth. The banchans receive high marks for being fresh and vibrant, offering a satisfying crunch and burst of flavor.
However, patrons have noted some inconsistency in the sides, with a few wishing for a wider variety, as stated by customer Darren N.. Great quality and quantity in food but I hope to see a bigger variety of sides in the future.

Ordered a tofu soup with 4 pc side mandoo/kimchee, choi sum, bean sprouts, and cabbage. Mandoo: well seasoned and very moist with thin crispy glistening skin. This is the kind I like to eat dry. Tofu soup: lotta tofu, tasty broth. Mucho veggies, big fat chunks of brisket. I pushed those brisket chunks apart with my spoon. Rice: soft. lol. figures. Not my style but not gonna affect the rating Banchans: . Wow! Flavorful, crisp, fresh. These packed a little more punch than I'm used to, all that flavor makes gives it some weight. Not just a mouth cleanser anymore. Talk about QoL. Quality's great for price point. Yum!

A couple of months ago, my friend picked up a combo plate for us and we enjoyed it! They were generous with the banchans and the food was tasty so decided to pick up our lunch from here. I ordered the BBQ Chicken for my husband without rice so I can choose an extra banchan. He chose bean sprouts, choy sum, mayo potatoes, shoyu potatoes and chop chae (noodles). It came with almost 4 pieces of chicken thighs. Asked him if he enjoyed the food? He gave me a thumbs up! I ordered the Meat Jun for myself also without rice so I can choose an extra banchan. My choices were mayo potatoes, bean sprouts, seaweed, choy sum and chop chae (noodles). They gave 3 larges pieces of Meat Jun...wish it was cut into 2" strips for easy eating. Took it home so I cut the Meat Jun and the BBQ Chicken into bite size pieces. Food came out pretty fast. When she passed me the bag, I swear it was over 5 pounds...soooo much food! It could feed us for 2 or more meals each! I like that they let you choose from 12 different banchans instead of having the same 3 banchans other Korean places prepare for all plates AND you have to take the rice. Once this happens, I usually avoid going back but...I will definitely be back at Peppa's! The workers are pleasant and food was very tasty. This place is located in the Kamehameha Shopping Center and lots of free parking.

CODY visited the Kamehameha Shopping Center for lunch CODY got there at right time, the place filled up quick CODY ordered the mini Kal Bi plate with sprouts and kimchi CODY food was hot, fresh, and ample, they give you alot of kal bi for a mini CODY counter staff were friendly CODY dining area was clean and organized, but the AC was out, so kinda stuffy CODY will return when AC is fixed.

Hole-in-the-wall location (like so many other Hawaii food spots) serving up Korean/Hawaiian fixings. Portions are massive here so be warned. I got the Peppas Special with comes with Kal Bi, Chicken, and beef for the proteins. Plus 4 sides of vegetables of your choice, 2 scoops of rice, and a fried man doo + zucchini. There's a lot of vegetable sides to choose from and my favorites were the mac salad and the japchae. The kimchi was kind of a let down and didn't have much flavor, which was weird because I tried my gf's spicy cucumbers (which have a similar flavor profile) and those were way better. For the meats, the Kal Bi was the best meat so I recommend getting that. The chicken was also very tender and flavorful. And the beef was just okay. You can either eat at the store or take it to-go. There's no real service as you go up to the counter, order your food, and then they'll call your number when it's ready. But overall I think this is a pretty good spot to get some good food and huge portions.

Very standard spot for me to go to when I want to make sure I'm eating veggies haha. Wait is usually around 15-25 minutes. They give a little less sides now... just a bit. I normally get a yukgaejang or meat jun (or combo with kalbi). Yummy. They are inconsistent with sides, sometimes the bean sprouts are seasoned really well and other times barely seasoned. Sometimes the cucumber kimchi is bad and sometimes it's good. I tried the new spicy fried chicken this time, and it was ok. I wouldn't get it again but it wasn't bad.
